In Italy, the national qualifier held at the Golf Club Druento in Turin was a moment of redemption for Marian Nedelea. After finishing ninth at the grand final in Split last year with a remarkable time of 2 hours, 25 minutes, and 15 seconds, Nedelea returned to reclaim his throne. Despite never having won the Italian qualifier before, this year he secured his first national title with a time of 1 hour, 43 minutes, and 45 seconds. The event, hosted by Cigar Club Collegno and Puromotivo Torino, was a celebration of Italian cigar culture, with participants enjoying Oliva cigars and fine wines before the competition. CSWC Montenegro: A Game of Penalty Minutes

In Montenegro, the CSWC qualifier held at the elegant Casa de Puros lounge in Podgorica was a true testament to the unpredictability of the slow-smoking race. Hosted by Alex Djuretic, the event saw last year’s third-place finisher, Udo Beker, rise to the top, despite a close battle with Leila P., who ultimately lost her chance at victory by burning the cigar ring. Stefan, who had incurred a penalty for ash, managed to secure second place, proving that in CSWC, every second counts. The event, graced by the presence of Marko Bilic and Dino Tomic, showcased the nerve, focus, and determination required to succeed in this sport.
