For the third year in a row, Daniel has proven himself as the top Austrian smoker, proudly and honorably retaining his title of Austrian Champion. His remarkable performance in the slow smoking race saw him leave the competition far behind, securing his victory with ease.
Ali Iravani, who secured the second position, demonstrated once again why he is considered one of Austria's best slow smokers. Ali's consistent top finishes over the years underscore his skill and dedication to the craft. The race for second place was intensely competitive, with Tomasz Mortka finishing less than a minute behind Ali, making the battle for the podium thrilling until the very end.

Astrid Walter smoked as guest smoker over 2 hours and marked her name in top 20 of the season
A delightful surprise was the presence of the current World Champion, Hauke Walter, who attended as a guest smoker along with his wife. Hauke showcased his readiness for the Grand Final, aiming to make history by defending his world title and becoming the first to achieve three World Championships. His impressive smoking time of 3 hours, 35 minutes, and 10 seconds placed him at the top of the season's Top 20 list for 2024. Not only that, but Hauke with this time reached his personal new record and he jumped for one position of the most prestigious CSWC list - TOP 20 of all times. Hauke's wife, Astrid, also performed exceptionally, clocking in at 2 hours and 2 minutes.
