The inaugural Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) event in Andorra was a resounding success, thanks to the exceptional organization by CARENSAC Christian-Denis, Founder and Organizer of the Festival Art de Vivre. This prestigious international festival provided the perfect backdrop for the first-ever CSWC in Andorra, marking a significant milestone in the championship’s history.

Lighting up CSWC fire in Andora

CSWC was honored to have one of its elite judges, Pierre Gustavsson from Sweden, preside over the competition. His presence added a touch of distinction to the event, ensuring the highest standards of judging.

Most of the competitors were newcomers, but the slow smoking race quickly heated up, showcasing intense competition and remarkable skill. The final moments of the race were nothing short of thrilling, culminating in a great victory for Alain Pinet. His performance was exceptional, especially for a first-time competitor.

Philippe Grainer claimed the second place, finishing just two minutes behind the winner, while the third place was secured by the talented Ramzi Abdouni. The top three finishers demonstrated incredible precision and control, making the event memorable for all attendees.

The competitors expressed their enthusiasm and satisfaction with the event, stating that they were overwhelmed by the experience. Many conveyed their eagerness to participate in the next competition, looking forward to another opportunity to engage in the art of slow smoking.
