The CSWC went a step further, requiring contestants to register in order for their participation in this international challenge to be regarded legitimate and lawful (18 + owing to global tobacco rules).

In the spotlight stands the first member of the newly founded CSWC club, Ivan Zizic. Hailing from Split, Zizic embodies the competitive spirit and fervor the CSWC seeks to foster. Born in 1995, Zizic's unyielding focus and competitive edge have been honed not just in cigar lounges but also through a background in professional water polo, freediving and spearfishing.
Zizic's passion for cigars was ignited at the age of 18 when he received a Cohiba Siglo VI from his father. This interest flourished under the mentorship of Bilic, leading Zizic to international CSWC qualifiers and setting records in endurance, with a personal best of 2 hours and 19 minutes achieved in London 2022.
Balancing roles as a mathematics and computer science graduate, and a dedicated father of three, Zizic now eyes the ultimate prize – the CSWC 2023 final in his hometown. He stands as a symbol of the camaraderie, culture, and elegance the CSWC club seeks to represent.
