Great CSWC race in Chur Cigar Club in Switzerland, powered by Gian Carlo Casparis and Big Alpine Smoke. CSWC judges Stefano Nett and Joachim Künsch did a fantastic job, and the CSWC Judge group is very proud of them. Cigar Club Chur, with its friendly environment, was an appropriate location for the world's slowest race. Late afternoon hours were set to slow down for slow cigar burning.

CSWC team Switzerland did amazing job. As always Gian Carlo Casparis with CSWC judges Stefano and Joe manage to bring the spirit of the CSWC to all competitors on the CSWC Switzerland- Marija Marovic, CSWC Head Judge

René Loser - the Swiss Champion 2023 in slow smoking action

Big alpine Smoke with Estonian qualifying are the oldest qualifier and some of the most experienced slow smokers turned there as Natasha Nicolazzi - She is a long-time CSWC cigar competitor and friend who has supported CSWC for over a decade. Last year, she was crowned Swiss national champion. This year, she returned to defend her championship against newcomers, and a falling penalty for ash and one more minute  separated her from a second Swiss crown.

This made newcomer René Loser even more victorious, as he won his first title as Champion of Switzerland with a smoking time of 1 hour 12 minutes 1 seconds and no penalty minutes on his card. Natasha, as previously said, finished second with 1 hour, 1 minute, and 2 seconds, which she summarized after 10 minutes of ash penalty. Yves Vonlanthen earned third place with 40 minutes of smoking. Overall, the CSWC Swiss was a fantastic race, exciting and tight - after all, that is what it is all about - excitement and fun.
