The Italian CSWC community continues to lead the world of slow smoking in terms of activity and initiative. They were the first to put the innovative concept of "Time Chase" competitions to the test. Cswc Judge Alberto Mancinelli was the first to hold a "time chase event" and was the first to do it officially.
It was a lot of fun, and it was easy to judge. We will definitely utilize as many Time Chase events as possible because they are a fantastic addition to the CSWC qualification season - CSWC Judge Italy Alberto Mancinelly

Alberto did it in collaboration with Pescara Cigar Club, a renowned Italian cigar club that hosts a variety of events throughout the year. CSWC Time Chase Pescara is a fantastically organized event that attracts over 20 contestants. For many of them, this was their first CSWc experience, and they were putting their slow smoking skills to the test.

The results were excellent for the first Time Chase challenge and for many competitors who were participating in their first CSWc event. Patrizio Teseo set the fastest time on the Time Chase event in Pescara, clocking in at 1 hour and 23 minutes. On the occasion, CSWC long-time friend xxx xxx, an experienced slow smoker, was also present. Overall, Italian slow smokers demonstrated that they understand the concept of Time Chase events and CSWC - to have fun, excitement, and a reason to get together for great slow smoking times.
