After a two-year long pandemic break, CSWC returned to Thailand, but it relocated from the urban area of Bangkok to the more nature-oriented vacation destination of Phuket. The CSWC was a huge success thanks to the organization of great judge Richard Valetnine, and he brought together some slow smoker veterans and newcomers.
CSWC has a long history in Thailand, and we are delighted that it is returning, this time to beautiful Phuket. Richard did an excellent job, and we now have a Thai CSWC Champion after two years again - Marko Bilic, CSWC founder

When we talk about CSWC Thai slow smoking veterans, we think of people like Paul Poole, a close friend of CSWC founder Marko Bilic, who came in second place this year again - but he has proven that he is one of the best Thai slow smokers. Mikael Vincet Petersson, an amazing slow smoker and CSWC veteran, was a big surprise this time with early fire off on his competition Rocky Patel Cigar

Newcomer Alex Lotz deserved great 3rd place
The two biggest surprises were undoubtedly two newcomers who made it to the top of CSWc Thailand - Alexandre Meunier and Alex Lotz. Alexandre managed to stay focused and outperform everyone else until the very end, smoking for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Behind him, Paul Poole took second place again this year, and Alex Lotz took third place after a great performance of slow smoking. As a result, CSWC demonstrates that CSWC can provide great excitement and great results even if you, as a newcomer, are competing in this slow smoking race with experienced veterans.
