NThe new World Champion ran the best race of his life, and with absolute dominance, he climbed to the very top of the WORLD.
The CSWC GRAND FINAL 2022 was one of the most spectacular, and it will be remembered as the glory of a Polish couple Borys and Klaudia who, for the first time, conceived the world as a slow smoking couple. They did it in the James Bond style, which is even more impressive given that both of them work in the fashion industry, nurturing exactly that style - Bond and Bond Girl. It was truly like that in that close fight for the World Champion title and the title of the world's best woman.
They not only did historical things for the CSWC as the first couple to stand on the throne of the CSWC World, but they also sealed season 2022 as one for the history books in which one country dominated the most, as no other ever has, and that is POLAND. We can conclude with pleasure that Poland, as country achieved the greatest success of in the history of the CSWC by finishing the season with 8 positions in the top 20 list, as well as the titles of World Champion and Best Woman plus new record on Rocky Patel CSWC cigar.
Season 2022 was spectacular, and it ended spectacularly, with a spectacular victory of spectacular people. The true James Bond atmosphere of this high-end challenge drew the best of the best from around the world, and it was a true celebration of positive competitiveness and deep feelings of sincere friendship. - Marko Bilic, CSWC Founder

GRAND FINAL 2022 will be remembered as the culmination of an exciting qualification season in which some new names appeared on stage suddenly and unexpectedly and demonstrated that today they shaped the history of CSWC as just the beginning of an amazing future. For certain, that name is Drew EMC from Apex, USA, who has shown that he is capable of returning the United States to the top of the CSWC after a long period of absence in that elite category of top smokers. He is already there with a stunning achievement in season 2022: second place on the top 20 list and second place on the GRAND FINAL race, both times smoking for more than 3 hours. Many believe he is the new successor to his compatriot and legend Darren Cioffi, and that he may even surpass him in the future.
Drew Emch from Apex cigar lounge USA, the biggest surprise of the season 2022 and Grand Finale 2022
Even though he was well known to the CSWC as one of its best friends and supporters, Dimitry Smirnov surprised everyone in the 2022 season. As previously stated, he has extensive experience in the CSWC as both an organizer and a competitor - albeit a competitor with great times who has never finished higher than second in qualification events. He nailed it this year. He won the Open Baltik Championship in Tallinn and placed third in the GRAND FINALE. With pushing cigar to its limits, he burned the ring and lost his second place, but managed to keep an amazing third place, and with this result he wrote history with bronze letters for the Latvian cigar community as the first one from Latvia who put the Latvian flag in the top three the best smokers in the world, and the first one who marked Latvian flag and his name in the elite group of smokers capable of smoking 3 hours. His name will be included in the Top 20 list of the greatest world smokers of all time.

Other competitors did an outstanding job. The fight was fierce, and the race was thrilling. Hauke Walter of Germany, one of the favorites, finished fourth after struggling with burning. At the same time, this was not the night for Henrik Kristensoon, the former World Champion from Sweden, who finished ninth. Denis Demich, a smoker from Latvia, surprised everyone by finishing in fifth place - another success for Latvia. Croatia is one of the best countries on this Finals with veterans Nenad and Zoran and great and proven newcomer Ivan Zizic, who managed to put Croatian flag on three positions in TOP 10. Daniel Friedenthal of Austria proved that he can always be counted on, and with a strong sixth place finish, he is back on track for next season. The country with the most competitors was the United Kingdom, and Etan Patel once again demonstrated why he is the UK Champion - he was the best among them, finishing 14th overall.
