This year's CSWC Germany was held in Cologne at the beautiful cigar shop and lounge Zigarren Welt, which is owned by the Tabac Benden family. Beautiful site attracts elite German slow smokers who have come to compete for the title of CSWC German Champion. Zigarren Welt was a great competition venue for slow smokers, with all aspects operating properly. Cigar Welt's whole crew was of the highest level of hospitality.

As previously said, several of the top German slow smokers were present, including Hauke Walter, Patricia Benden, and Martina Klainlagel. Some rookies were also present, and they played fantastically. Marko Bilic, the founder of CSWC, also seized the opportunity to explore how far he could stretch the CSWC cigar. This was the first time he was not a judge on one of the qualifiers because Klaus Klainlagel and Thomas Gaisler did a great job. He lost it after 12 minutes.

The race started off well, with Hauke and Patricia running nearly the same time after an hour. Martina Klainlagel was there following them, with a few participants doing really well, virtually always sharing third place with Martina. Patricia observed Hauke make a great distance as the race approached two hours, and she rase her number for stopping the time at 1 hour 58 minutes 12 seconds. Hauke won the German title for the second time in 3 hours, 1 minute, and 30 seconds. Martina finished in 1 hour, 51 minutes, and 18 seconds. Jan Kabino took fourth place with a smoking time of 1 hour and 32 minutes.
